October is Pastor Appreciation Month...Let's remember Pastor Chris & his family!
Let all of us do something to show Pastor Chris and his family how much we appreciate them and have been blessed to have Chris as our pastor.You may be asking yourself, how can I do this?Very simple, send a card, a dessert, a hand shake and a thank you, take them out for a meal or have them come to your house for a meal.Be sure to check with Laurie (his social secretary) on a date because of sports and/or other schedules.OK, yes, gift certificates are acceptable too.Our carry in dinner will be October 25th.Please make every effort to attend to make this a special day for the Kruchkow family.

RECENT EVENTS:
Playground Dedication
Our children participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the new playground. Everyone enjoyed watching the kids play and have ice cream sundaes. Some of our adults enjoyed a game or two in the new horseshoe area. Volleyball, basketball and many other fun past times were enjoyed on such a great evening. Thank you to everyone that helped make the playground a reality!
Spaghetti Supper
All you can eat spaghetti supper from 5 to 7 pm (the last Saturday of every month) includes spaghetti, salad, drinks, garlic toast, and dessert for $6 adult; $3.50 5-12; under 5 is free! Good food, good fellowship, and the proceeds go to our church budget.
Craftin’ & Scrappin’ Sistahs
It’s that time of year again for Craftin & Scrappin’ Sistahs to start up again.We will begin on Thursday, October 1st at 7:00PM.We will craft and scrap from 7 – 8pm and do a study on “Growing Friendships” from 8 – 9pm.This is open to all women in the church as well as any family and friends.It is a great time of fun and fellowship, so come join us.See Laurie Kruchkow with questions.
Puppet Ministry
Puppet Ministry - There will be a short meeting in the chapel after church on Sun., Oct 11th for anyone interested in
helping with the puppet ministry. Please prayerfully consider being a part of this exciting new ministry here at Faith church.
Thank Offering Sunday
Sunday, October 18 will be the UMW Thank Offering Sunday.The service will be led by the women of the church; if you are interested in participating, please see Laurie Kruchkow.The UM Sister Circle will be honoring a woman or women for their work in ministries of Faith church and our community.This will also be the Sunday that we will be collecting the Tank offering bread containers that you have been collecting change in since last spring.
Bake Sale
The UMW Sister Circle are continuing the first Sunday of the month bake sales.October’s and November’s proceeds will go to Faith Church’s Food Pantry.December’s proceeds will be used to adopt an Angel Tree Family.
